Die syrische Chronik des Josua Stylites

A translation with historical commentary of the Syrian chronicle by Josua Stylites, a chronicler from Edessa at the beginning of the sixth century. The chronicle is argued to be one of the most important sources for the Roman-Persian war of 502-506.
