The Author would like to dedicate this book in memory to all of those Firefighter's who have given their lives before him and will do so in the future.
Daniel Knowles served over 60 years as a Montgomery County, MD Firefighter. During this time, he had the opportunity and good fortune to work and ride with many other Fire and Rescue Companies, including several of the elite Rescue Units in New York City.
