Dujiangyan

The five thousand years long magnificent history of China has made the Chinese an intelligent people that created many great world-renowned projects. Some of them survived thousands of years of changes and still benefit us today. Dujiangyan is not only a great miracle of ancient Chinese hydraulic engineering technology, but also a shining pearl among hydraulic projects around the world. Dujiangyan describes how Li Bing, the governor of Shu County of the Qin State, led the public to build the Dujiangyan water conservancy project more than 2,000 years ago.
