East and West

This book examines the relationship and interconnection of religions and laws, their history and their influence on the destiny of mankind. In the first part of the book, the pre-Christian religions are discussed. The second part is devoted to the history of Christianity. The impact of its three branches - Orthodoxy, Catholicism, and Protestantism- on the development of people living and cultures is discussed. The role of the Protestant Church in the history of the United States and the Orthodox Church in Russian history is explored. The East and West laws are compared.
