Because of its portability, speed, and ease of use, ultrasound (US) is the most commonly used imaging modality in the ER. This title reviews the uses of US for obstetric and gynecologic presentations. It covers gastrointestinal, abdominal, and genitourinary applications of US in the ER, as well as the use of US as guidance for ER procedures.
