Bag om Entwicklung Eines Kalteprozesses Zur Nutzung Der Exzessenthalpie Beim Losen Von Salzen in Wasser
Diplomarbeit aus dem Jahr 2009 im Fachbereich Technik, Note: 1,3, Technische Universität Berlin (Institut für Energietechnik), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: The growing air conditioning demand coupled with the mostly common political will for reduction of greenhouse gases leads to new considerations according to energy effciency.
On the one hand the efficiency of the particular cooling process has to be improved and on the other hand the synergetic implementation of this process in existing energy systems has to be pushed.
Thermal driven cooling processes provide an excellent opportunity to increase the efficiency of the overall energy system by generating valuable cooling power using waste or solar heat. Beside the several well-known thermal driven cooling processes like Absorption, Adsorption Chillers and Desiccant Cooling Systems, this study introduces a new cooling process.
This novel process uses the endothermal enthalpy of solution while dissolving the respective salt in water. Using the example of ammonium nitrate dissolved in water, algebraic functions for the vapor pressure and the enthalpy of this solution are formulated. Several equipment variations are proposed, stationary balanced and calculated. Starting with a Coefficient of Performance (COP) of 0.04 heat recovery installations and the use of a ten stage ¿ash evaporator improve the COP up to 0.24.
