Bag om Fearful Farewell
The transition between high school and "adulthood" looms large for most people, and it is no exception for Guy. After graduation, Guy will face many changes. Everyone in his life seems to be leaving him behind. While his girlfriend, friends, and coworkers are all headed off to college in different cities that are hours, if not states, away, he is staying behind to run the family business - a small-town movie theater. Guy is left wondering how his life will turn out when there is no one left in it.Not knowing where to turn, Guy looks to what he knows best for answers - cinema. He decides to conduct an experiment during his late-night shifts when the movie theater screens its monthly double features. He attempts to learn life's lessons by searching within the movies themselves as well as the audience watching them. Just as the movies differ each month, so do the people he interacts with. As graduation nears, the pressure to understand life, love, and himself draws nearer and more intense. If Guy wants to succeed in his mission, he must learn to understand the art, people, and world around him.
