Grammar of Meithei

A reference guide to the Tibeto-Burman language, Meithei. The grammar in this text is divided into nine chapters which deal with phonology and morphology and syntax. A functional perspective dealing with signalling of evidentality and indirect speech acts is given in the final chapter.
