Bag om Hanna
"Here we go." Kara, my amazing and wonder-ful twin sister smiled, putting the maroon bow head-band on my bald head. Stepping back, her eyes filled with tears."Sissy, what's wrong?" I asked, making my way towards her."Not a thing, girlie." Kara smiled. "You just look really beautiful and happy tonight, that's all.""How beautiful do I look?""Go into your rest-room and see for your-self."Fifteen months ago, I was diag-nosed with a rare and aggress-ive form of Leu-kemia. Instant-ly, I was register-ed into the pediatric cancer hospital. With all of the surger-ies and treat-ments that I have gone and go through, it is rare that I feel beautiful and confi-dent. How-ever, as I look into the mirror and see the girl with the spa-ghetti strapp-ed, maroon, strap-less, a-lined dress with the black, strappy, low heels, I cannot help but smile, and feel both happy and confi-dent.
