Griff Douglas has one goal in mind-to get back on the U.S. ski team for the winter games, so he can win another medal in alpine racing. He's thirty-five. This is his last shot.
No distractions.
Except the cute girl who shows up at the resort hot tub while he's soaking his sore muscles. She's fun and adventurous…and he takes her to bed.
Only to find out the next day that she's the guardian of his closest competitor, a kid nearly half his age.
And he can't exactly ignore her when they keep running into each other at races, especially when they all travel to Europe to race for the chance to be on the U.S. team.
Mackenzie Burton took guardianship of her nephew when he was only twelve, and she twenty-four. She's given up most of her twenties to take care of him and support him in his alpine racing career. This will be her last year to travel with him, then she can go back to her life as he gains more independence.
