High Marsh Road

Short-listed for the 1980 Governor General's Award for poetry, High Marsh Road is a cycle of poems that reflects the moods of the great Tantramar marsh. Continuing a century-long artistic tradition begun by Charles G.D. Roberts, Douglas Lochhead has written a sequence of 122 poems marking his daily walks across this windblown terrain.
