Horseback Riding In Action

Intended for ages 6-9, this work helps children learn about the daily care of horses and the basics of horseback riding including equipment, mounting and dismounting, turning, stopping, trotting, and cantering. It covers topics such as: practising; preparing for competitions; competing in events such as show jumping; and form and appearance.
