Hunger and Bones

When The Balance Between nature and civilization is skewed more towards technology, the Reset occurs. Red Jayne has lived a life of pain and suffering, enduring more trauma than most. Living on the streets, Jayne learned quickly that the only one that she can rely on is herself and it has hardened her heart. Jayne never worried about dealing with otherworldly beings because of her gift, until the veil of the world falls during the Reset, making most of those entities corporeal and more dangerous than before. To make matters worse, everyone around her is either killing themselves with blissful smiles or going completely feral and killing indiscriminately. Jayn has no choice but to do what she has always done: survive at any cost. Can she cope with this new reality or will Jayne's tortured past cause her to succumb to the apocalyptic horrors of the Reset?
