Inorganic nanotubes are attracting the interest of many scientists and researchers, due to their excellent application potential in different fields. Nano particles are used in various composites. But our project is based on mixing nanoparticle with diesel. The main aim of this project is mixing HNT (Halloysite Nanotubes) with diesel fuel as a fuel additive at different compositions that are 25ppm, 50ppm, 100ppm respectively and investigate the effect of the mixed fuel (Diesel+HNT) such as performance characteristics and emission control in a compression ignition engine at various compositions. Our aim is to investigate the performance and emission characteristics of HNT mixed diesel without any engine modification.
