There's something up with the ghost Lavender, Rosie, and Ethan trapped at the corn maze. With it rattling around Lavender's house and sending her spooky text messages, she's determined to learn more about the lore in the ghost's past. What better place for research than the school library?
When she and her friends attend the school's Halloween dance, they take the chance to poke around the library by themselves. But are they actually alone? After the power goes out, books start flying off the shelves and mysterious glowing footprints tell them someone-or something-is in there with them, and it's locked them inside in the dark.
