In the 42 years that span 17 November 2070 to 20 August 2112, the DeBruce Martineau dynasty continues the legacies of King Eric I and Queen Angilia. While so very much changes as the 21st century segues into the 22nd century, one constant is the compassion with which the Royal Family leads Valdavia. The other constant is the love that surrounds the Royal Family. The influence of King Eric I and Queen Angilia remains steadfast, guiding King Eric II and his sons Prince Eric and Prince Patrick. The three men not only inherit their benevolence from Eric and Angilia, but their lives' purposes. As heir to the throne, Prince Eric will become a King de Valdavia who is similar to his great-grandfather and his father. Prince Patrick follows his grandmother Angilia into education. The family also contends with the global spotlight as Queen Angilia is posthumously honored in a most unexpected--but not surprising--manner. The grace, gratitude, compassion, and humility with which they handle this veneration is further testament to the legacy they inherited. That legacy is passed down to Prince Eric's children, ensuring the lasting care and guardianship of Valdavia.
