Manifest Destiny

Nearly two hundred years ago a prediction was made for our time: "The United States will spend her strength and means warring in foreign lands until other nation will say, 'Let's divide up the lands of the United States.' Then the nation will go to war." With our arsenals depleted, our treasury empty, our petroleum reserves drained, and our moral basis undercut, our enemies will act with an overt confidence. That prediction was accurate. We will go to war.
