Market-Based Interest Rate Reform in China

This book reviews the process of Chinäs interest rate reform. It is structured along three lines, namely loosening rate controls, establishing market-based interest rates, and building an effective adjustment mechanism. Also, it explores the challenges of the reform, and offers policy recommendations on how to further push the reform forward.
