Meaningful Mourning was developed from life experiences and written from a personal, not professional perspective. Like many, the author has lived through tremendous grief. Grief that has brought her to where she is today. While there are many books available that provide support for people in mourning, Meaningful Mourning focuses on multiple ways the reader can honor and celebrate the memory of their loved one in order to move forward. The author has utilized not only her experiences with dealing with death, but also those of others. Though a brief history is provided of the losses of family and friends, the focus is not on them, but on ways to move forward with life after a tragic loss. The desire is that the reader is able to honor and celebrate the memory of the one they loved, so that they will feel whole again.
