Life threatening emergencies can and do occur in the practice of dentistry. They can happen to anyone ¿ a patient, doctor, member of the office staff, or a person who is merely accompanying a patient. Medical emergencies are not infrequent in dental office but the dental professionals are not frequently equipped to handle such situations.This book aims to provide a guide to the dental clinicians for the proper protocol in the effective chairside management of the medical emergency and its proper referral.
