Farhan Hanif Warsi (Born 28th February 1966) is a noted Urdu journalist, editor, translator, poet, and lyricist. He was in the eighth standard when his short stories and essays for children were published in reputed dailies of Mumbai. He edited the sports, film and literature pages of the fortnightly AL-FATEH from 1987 to 1989, and also worked with the dailies Urdu Times, Sahafat (Mumbai), and the weekly Rashtriya Sahara (Delhi(. His columns Mumbai Diary, Parde Ke Peeche, Oonchi Udanwale, and 'Jo Khabron Mein Hain' have attracted a wide readership from all sections of society. From 1996 to 1998, he wrote for the Sab-Rang magazine, which was published along with the reputed Hindi daily Jan Satta.
