Bag om Namibia Discovered
Namibia Discovered is a collection of photographs recording a first visit to a unique and remarkable African country. The fifteen day self-drive tour began in late March, 2016. Places visited included the Namib-Naukluft Park, Sossusvlei, Deadvlei and Sesriem Canyon, Walvis Bay, Swakopmund, Twyfelfontein and Camp Kipwe in Damaraland, Etosha National Park and Okonjima Plains Camp.
After reading this book you will be among the few who know that there really is a country called Namibia, and certainly one of the few who can say you know where it is. If you are interested in traveling to Africa, this journal and its minimal narrative may encourage you to visit Namibia.
The author is a biologist and award-winning photographer who lived in South Africa and Zimbabwe for 25 years before returning to the United States in 1980.
