Nonlinear Analysis of Shells by Finite Elements

Nonlinear computational analysis of shells, nonlinearities due to deformations and nonlinear material behaviour and alternative shell element formulations are all discussed in this text. Algorithms for the treatment of the nonlinear stability behaviour of shell structure are also presented.
