Obsidian

When the protagonist moves to West Virginia with her family, she is convinced she is going to be miserable; then she meets her neighbor, Daemon. He is gorgeous, yet arrogant. When a stranger attacks her, he comes to her rescue using his unusual powers. He confesses to her that he is not from our world and that both he and his sister must fight a galaxy of enemies that want to steal those powers. Anyone near them is in danger as well!
