On the River Shannon

Keera O'Quinn and Paddy O'Shea promised to never tell her family they were a couple, mostly because she worried about her cousin Emmet's reaction. Paddy was his friend but he was also known as a player, at least, in the past. Dating since Keera's final year at school until she went to America for the last two years of her college, they only just rekindled the fire when they have an argument resulting in their break up. Keera finds another but is never as happy as she was with Paddy and Paddy buries himself in work. When Emmet it in hospital, Paddy and Keera are faced with their unfinished business, though Keera's pregnancy scare with an ex-boyfriend could get in the way. A change of scenery is what they both need so when their favorite author is in Limerick, Paddy takes her to meet him, though Paddy has another reason to introduce her to T.S. Jameson. Strolling through town, hand in hand, Paddy and Keera share their secret desires, and tell each other something they've never told another living soul, all on the river Shannon.
