Rome, Summer 1986Meet Valerio Redi a modern-day Dorian Gray. All his life he has yearned for love, dreamed of love, written of love. Yet, always it has eluded him. She captures his heart as he captures hers, and what follows is a whirlwind of passion, fury and romance as Valerio's dark side threatens to ruin his one true chance of happiness. At its heart On the Sea Shore is a story of love, anger, and obsession. A man battling with himself, a man struggling to be good, but drowning under the need to be bad. In the end, it is this inner turmoil that is Valerio's undoing.
