The Department of Oregon State Fire Marshal regulates the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) industry in the state of Oregon through the Regulatory Services Division (RSD). A Master Fitter license is required for all individuals who perform LPG fuel gas plumbing work including but not limited to, fitting or venting work, install or replace LP-Gas containers and container appurtenances, install, replace, repair or remodel any LP-Gas container, appliance, piping or venting.
