Along with her two best friends, Emma leaves behind New York City and travels to California with the firm intention of spending the holidays with a cocktail in hand, under the sun, on the warm beaches of the coast. A perfect plan. Or at least it was until she met Alex Harton, the boy who not only broke her heart but also left a week before they were going to say "I do." Unfortunately, Alex is still irresistible. And although Emma feels a weakness for his blue eyes and rogue smile, she is not willing to fall back into his thrall. Everything was in the past.
