Paul Howard Williams ArtWork 1970-81 London, England post-Pop/Punk Paul Howard Williams (1954-81) Painting / Multi-media audio-visual Paul Howard Williams: Art and Life 1954-81 was a local Waltham Forest artist who studied at Walthamstow Art College (Walthamstow Technical College, North East London Polytechnic, now Waltham Forest College) (Vanilla Beer, Ian Dury, Peter Blake, Marion Foale, Heather Jansch, Sally Tuffin, Valerie Wiffen, Ken Russell, Peter Greenaway); Chelsea College of Arts & Design (David Hockney, Gillian Wearing); and Newham Community Murals, up to 1981 when he succumbed to leukemia. All Paul's works appear incomplete, fragmentary, yet, these experimental pieces become endlessly varying, sometimes melancholic, angry, comic, amusing and entertaining, in this exhibition of Paul Williams' Art and Life 1954-81.
