It's OK to BE YOU! is a simple children's book with a positive message for gender creative boys/children that was not available to mother/author Hayley Davidson when she searched for any books that she could read to her son to let him know that all he was experiencing is OK!
Hayley's overall purpose for writing this book is to remind gender creative boys/children that what they are drawn to do and play with every day is not only OK, but it is also WHO THEY ARE!
This book will help preschool through elementary school-age gender creative boys, as well as parents and guardians of gender creative boys, gain an understanding of the gender creative boy/child next door, on their street, in their family or in their school. School counselors and educators will also find and appreciate this book a positive reference.
