When Adam Riker wakes up after a bad first date, the world around him has changed considerably. A disease has ravaged humanity on a global scale, and few truly safe places remain. In an effort to lend aid to a woman and her two children, he discovers that he has also been touched by recent events. To what extent he has been affected, however, remains to be seen.
