Religion, Science and Technology in North America

This survey starts by providing the global and historical context needed to understand religion, science and technology in the North American context. Following an introduction to the field, key topics explored in the volume include Race, Religion and Science; Religion, Science and Secularism; and Technology, Medicine, Ethics and Religion.
Individual chapters examine the relationship between Religion, Science and Covid-19, the implications of vaccination, and the question of debating gender. Attention is paid to Peyote Religion/Native American religion, and consideration given to the question of non-Indigenous scholars studying Indigenous knowledge.
