Along with compatriots, Jeremy then works to help reunite the country and to help liberate his home. From Jeremy and the other main characters' perspectives, the reader gets to experience the issues states face as they gradually reunite in this alternate history/future of America. The author hopes his book can act as a kind of warning to others for a potential reality we may incur if we're not careful. Reuniting A Fractured Union is an enjoyable read for most readers of adult fiction who enjoy accessible science fiction, alternative history fiction, and political thrillers.
