Marshall Chase has just scored big, a first copy of the Necromonicon. Now the sale of the rare book has put Marshall on the run, with cultists out for his blood. He has to run and run fast and far. His guide, Mary, has disappeared and his sponsor is dead. The FBI wants him for murder and even the RCMP is on his trail. Who is really after him and what do they really want?
