Seismic Waves in Laterally Inhomogeneous Media

This special issue of "Pure and Applied Geophysics" contains papers from an international workshop held in the Czech Republic in 2000. The workshop was devoted mainly to the current state of theoretical and computational means of study of seismic wave propogation in complex structures.
