Skylar's Special Summer is the story of 13-year-old Skylar Martin, who is living the good life as the only child of two career-minded parents. She spends most of her free time with her blue-ribbon show horse, "Heaven's Princess" and her best friend, Anna. But Skylar's ideal life comes to a screeching halt one morning when she overhears a tense discussion between her parents that turns her perfect life upside down.
