Suspicion

SUSPICION continues the Martin Dougherty Series. Three years following The Ring The Dougherty family is rebuilding their lives in Tucson. Instead of the calm life they sought, once again they are forced to react to events that again put them in danger.
The twisting tale has its roots in Southern Arizona with the controversial orphan adoptions in 1904. Generations later, the Doughertys find themselves entangled in the shadow of a violent bank robbery, a web of domestic terrorists, and corrupt local politicians. Kidnapping, blackmail, arrests, and shootings drive wedges in their relationships.
Assumptions are challenged by the fast pace and plot twists. Suspicions abound with characters who are not always what they seem to be.
