Synthesis and Original Reactivity of Copper and Gold Complexes

This thesis addresses the coordination chemistry and reactivity of copper and gold complexes with a focus on the elucidation of (i) the metal-mediated activation of -bonds and (ii) the migratory insertion reaction.
