Bag om The Alpha Billionaire's Mate
A new start, new job, and a grumpy boss who just so happens to be a werewolf. I think I may be in trouble.
When I moved to Vancouver and applied to be an assistant to the CEO of Knight Enterprises, I never dreamed that I would get the job.
Imagine my surprise when I was hired on the spot by the CEO himself, Greyson Knight. I am over the moon at the opportunity, but working with Greyson turns out to be more difficult than I imagined. His snarky and demeaning attitude leads me to resent ever being hired. There's just one problem, though.
I find myself being drawn to Greyson, no matter how hard I fight it. Come to find out, he feels the same way, but he has a secret. He's the Alpha to a pack of werewolves...and I'm his fated mate.
Excerpt:
I look over at Greyson in the driver's seat. Did this Greek God of a man really have fangs and glowing eyes just now? My eyes roam his body and I notice his shirt is slashed, and I can see blood . . .
He parks his Range Rover and cuts the engine. I can tell he's nervous as he stares straight ahead, hands straining on the steering wheel, knuckles white.
"Greyson, are you okay?" I ask timidly, not wanting to spook him.
He turns to me slowly. "I wanna show you something. But I don't want you to be scared. Do you trust me?"
Seeing this normally confident and sexy billionaire CEO acting like an earnest high-school boy has me almost giggling, but I just nod silently.
"Come with me," he says, getting out of the car as I follow him up to the massive, imposing gates guarding a private wooded glade.
"Is this your estate? Or did you bring me out here to kill me?" I ask with a nervous laugh, trying to cut the tension.
His head snaps to me, eyes wide. "What did you say?"
