The Count of Monte Cristo

Thrown in prison for a crime he did not commit, Edmond Dantè s spends fourteen years of his youth there. During his confinement, he meets a priest who tells him about a treasure hidden on the island of Monte Cristo. Ripped away from his love, with a heart full of bitter revenge, Dantè s vows to escape from prison and find the treasure to right the wrongs committed against him, and punish the men responsible for the tragedy of his life.
