The History of Greece

This is the third volume (first published in 1797) of William Mitford's History of Greece, covering the period from the end of the Peloponnesian War to the peace of Antalcidas between Sparta and Persia in 386 BCE. The rise of Philip of Macedon is given emphasis in this volume.
