The Mummified Hand and the President

This is the fifth book in the George Melville Mystery series and as such sees our eponymous hero Melville embark on yet another mission for SIS (MI6). This further exciting adventure sees the team working independently, and then together as they join together in the new world via Haiti or the Queen Mary to face their biggest challenge in America, where they are faced with not only the evil of ancient Voodoo magic, but the American government itself as the plot against the president embroils them into an FBI/Secret Service civil war which has the power to bring American and British relationships to a new low just before the outbreak of World War 2, and conceivably pave the way towards America becoming a Nazi stooge.
