The Scot in New France, An Ethnological Study

This publication explores the aims and aspirations of Scotchmen in the late eighteenth century, following traces left by the Scotch in Canadian history. Short biographies of notable individuals, a list of British officers who have married in Canada, and a list of Montreal's past and present Scottish residents are all included in this work.
