THE SEVEN PARCHMENTS

If you happen to be religious in any “Christian sort of way” maybe you ought to find something else to read.
I can highly recommend “The Old Testament”, especially if you happen to be a sadist as well and wish to ascertain how God mistreated his “Chosen People”. And then – if you maybe just happen to find this first half of “The good book” just a little on the tame side – you can always “hot it up” a little by reading Martin Luther’s “Katekismus” as well. In his writ, the rebellious monk teaches you how to become a “good Christian” by mistreating women, children, donkeys, dogs, cats and servants – not to forget Jews as well of course!
