This first book in a new series introduces Pandora, a cat who lives in a lighthouse, and an old seadog named Seabold, blown into Pandora's life by a violent storm. Seabold's not sure that he's ready to live on land, but when three orphan mice who desperately need someone to take care of them arrive, the two loners realize they have all the ingredients for adventure with their new "family."
