The Struggle for Human and Economic Development in Sub-Saharan Africa

In this book we survey issues impacting the economic and human development of Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). SSA makes up a substantial portion of the continent of Africa. Africa, which covers almost 12 million square miles of territory (22% of the earth's total landmass), is the second largest of the earth's seven continents. Africa is believed to be the region where the human race evolved, and subsequent out migration(s) populated the other regions of the world.
