The Time Traders

Armchair fiction presents extra large paperback editions of the best in classic science fiction novels. "The Time Traders," is one of author Andre Norton's best novels. It asks the question, can time be conquered? To test this theory, Ross Murdoch finds himself transplanted to the North Pole to participate in a top secret project. It's suspected that Russian scientists have discovered how to transport themselves back to prehistoric times in an effort to learn long forgotten secrets. Ross successfully assumes the role of a trader during the Bronze Age but soon finds himself up against not only Russians, but aliens from a far off galaxy.
