From the Introduction: The poems in this volume are almost entirely the work of students who were enrolled last year in the verse-writing course offered by the English department under my instruction. Between October 1923 and June 1924 about thirty undergraduates took this course, and more than half of them composed poems which I consider worthy of preservation. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
