The main character, Lorna Feeney, suffered horrors that no child should ever experience, and she spends her adult life traveling the world to exact revenge on those who she deems responsible for her suffering.
A master of subterfuge, Lorna evades pursuit through a series of complex ruses as each victim is caught in her web. Killing becomes her raison d'etre and her motivation -- even beyond her quest for revenge.Lorna's pursuers include Fraser Robertson, an Army veteran turned police officer, who always seems to be one step behind Lorna. Fraser's "honey pot" operation to catch Lorna was almost successful, but Lorna seemed to vanish into thin air, leaving Fraser and his colleagues to pick up her trail before she kills again.
