This book is a children's guide to understanding Alzheimer's Disease. Alzheimer's Disease is a brain disorder that affects more than 50 millions people all over the world. Unfortunately, this number is expected to double by as much as 80 million by 2030. As the disease progresses, persons that are diagnosed with this disorder will permanently lose their memory and other functional skills. Currently, there is no cure for Alzheimer's Disease. However, scientist are working extremely hard to find a solution. This book focuses on the relationship between a boy (Quincy, age 8) and his grandfather, who has Alzheimer's disease.
